Privacy Policy
This Policy on the processing of personal data and confidentiality of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) applies to all information that OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” and/or its affiliates, including all entities of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” group, can obtain about the user during the use by such user of any web-site, service, program and product of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”), as well as in the course of performance by OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” and its affiliates of any agreements and contracts concluded with the user in connection with the use of the Services. The user’s consent to the provision of personal data (personal information) given by him/her in accordance with this Policy within the framework of relationships with one of the entities of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” group shall be applicable to all entities in this group.
The use of the Services implies an unconditional consent of the user to this Policy and conditions for processing his/her personal information, particularly, to performance of the actions prescribed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of July 02, 2019 N ЗРУ -547 “On Personal Data” both without and with the use of automation tools, and confirms that, by giving such consent, he/she acts freely, by his/her own will and in his/her own interests; in case of disagreement with these conditions, the user should refrain from using the Services.
1. Personal Information of Users which is Obtained and Processed by OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre”.
1.1. For the purposes of this Policy, “user’s personal information” means:
1.1.1. Personal information, that the user provides about him/herself upon registration (creating an account) or in the course of using the Services, including the user’s personal data, which is required for provision of the Services (rendering of services), and it is marked respectively. Other information is provided by the user at his/her discretion.
1.1.2. Data which is automatically transmitted by the Service in the course of its use with the software installed on the user’s device, including IP address, information from cookies, information about the user’s browser (or another program that accesses the Services), access time, requested page address.
1.1.3. Other information about the user in the event that its collection and/or provision is prescribed by the regulating documents of certain Services.
1.2. This Policy is applicable to the Services of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” only. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites to which the user can pass via the links available in the Services of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre”. On such websites, other personal information may be collected or requested from the user, and other actions may also be performed.
1.3. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” generally does not verify the reliability of personal information provided by users and does not verify their legal capacities. However, OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” proceeds from the fact that the user provides reliable and sufficient personal information on the questions indicated in the registration form, that the personal data specified by such user during registration belongs to him/her and he/she maintains this information up to date. The user providing information bears the risk of its unreliability.
1.4. The user’s consent to the processing of personal data shall be valid indefinitely from the time of registration of the user on the website and/or Services and it does not require a periodic confirmation. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” may keep personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with the legal and regulatory requirements.
2. Purposes of Collecting and Processing Personal Information of Users
2.1. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” collects, processes and stores only those personal data which is required for provision of the Services and rendering of services (performance of agreements and contracts with the user) in strict compliance with the applicable laws.
2.2. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” may use the user’s personal information for the following purposes:
2.2.1. Identification of a party under contracts and agreements with OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre”;
2.2.2. Processing is necessary for fulfillment of the contractual obligations of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” to the user;
2.2.3. Communication with the user, including sending of notifications, requests and information regarding the use of the Services, provision of services, as well as processing of requests and applications received from the user;
2.2.4. Improvement of the quality of the Services, convenience of their use, development of new Services and services;
2.2.5. Advertising materials targeting;
2.2.6. Conducting statistical and other research on the basis of depersonalized data
3. Conditions for Processing the User’s Personal Information and its Transfer to Third Parties
3.1. The user’s personal data is kept confidential, except for the cases when the user voluntarily provides information about him/herself for general access to an unlimited number of persons.
3.2. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” is entitled to transfer the user’s personal information to third parties in the following cases:
3.2.1. The user has given his/her consent thereto;
3.2.2. Such transfer is required for the use by the user of a certain Service or for rendering services to the user;
3.2.3. Such transfer is prescribed by the applicable laws within the framework of a procedure established by the laws;
3.2.4. Such transfer is made as part of the sale or other transfer of the business (fully or partially), while the transferee acquires all obligations to comply with the terms of this Policy in relation to the personal information received by him/her;
3.2.5. To ensure a possibility of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” or third parties in cases when the user violates the Terms of the public offer of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre”.
4. Amendment of Personal Information by the User
4.1. The user may at any time amend (update, supplement) the personal information provided by him/her or a part of it, as well as the parameters of its confidentiality, using the personal data editing function in the “Personal Account” section. The user may request OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” to clarify, block or destroy (delete) the personal data provided by him/her or a part of it, if the personal data is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or not required for the specified purpose of its processing, as well as take measures to protect his/her rights in accordance with the laws.
5. Measures Taken to Protect the Personal Information of Users:
5.1. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” takes necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect the user’s personal data against an unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as against other illegal actions of third parties.
6. Amendment of the Privacy Policy Applicable Laws
6.1. OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” is entitled to make amendments to this Privacy Policy. Upon making amendments, the current version should reflect the date of the last update. The new version of the Policy becomes effective on the date of its publication at https://silkroad-samarkand.com/, unless otherwise prescribed by the new version of the Policy. The applicable version is always posted and available at https://silkroad-samarkand.com/.
6.2. This Policy and relationships between the user and OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre” arising in connection with application of the Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
6.3. The law “On Personal Data” of the Republic of Uzbekistan is applicable upon processing of personal data of users of OOO “Samarkand Touristic Centre”.
